Product Details

Main ingredients: Azithromycin 200mg & 500mg.
Classified in the antibiotic group: Macolide.
Indications:
• Lower and upper respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis, pneumonia, pharyngitis and otitis media.
• ​​Skin and soft tissue infections, sexually transmitted diseases (urinary tract and abdominal infections due to infection).
• Conjunctivitis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis in adults and children aged 12 months and older.
Dosage:
Take the medicine 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals.
Adults: For the treatment of other diseases, generally take 1 tablet (500mg)/day for 3 days, except for the following diseases:
• Sexually transmitted diseases: 1,000mg once/once.
• Pneumonia: Take 1 tablet (500mg)/day for 7-10 days.
Children: General strength: 10mg/kg/day x 3 days or 10mg/kg/day on the first day, 5mg/kg/day on the next day x 2-5 days.
• Strep throat and tonsillitis 20mg/kg/day x 3 days and should not exceed 500mg/day equivalent to 12.5ml.
• Otitis media 30mg/kg/day/once or 10mg/kg/day x 3 days or 10mg/kg/day on the first day then 5mg/kg/day on the next day x 2-5 days
Side effects of the drug: Azithromycin is rarely found and mild, such as: digestive system disorders, liver chemistry changes, skin rash, headache, dizziness, serious side effects are rare and in some cases cause changes in the white blood cell count of Neutrophils.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women: Azithromycin has not been studied and is not safe for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women, so the potential benefits and risks should be considered before using this medication.
