Ventek Teblets 4mg, 5mg, 10 mg

Chemical name: Montelukast Sodium 4mg & 5mg & 10mg.
Drug class: Anti – Leukotines.
Indications:
• Used to prevent and treat patients with chronic asthma in patients aged 2 years and older to adults:
• Used to prevent asthma during the day and night, used to treat patients with asthma caused by Aspirin (ASA), used to prevent asthma during exercise.
• Used to treat patients with seasonal allergic rhinitis-chronic in children aged 2 years and older.
Strengths:
• Ventek is a daily asthma control and prevention medication, can be taken before or after meals.
• Patients should take the medication continuously even if their asthma is controlled or improved, taking 1 tablet/day, at night before going to bed according to the strengths below:
• 15 years and older-adults The strength used is 10mg/day.
• Ages 6-14 years and up the recommended strength is 5mg/day.
• Ages 2-5 years and up the recommended strength is 4mg/day.
Package sizes: Ventek (Montelukast Sodium) 4mg, 5mg and 10mg Tablets are packaged in blister packs of 7 tablets x 2 blister packs/box.
