Tablet form: Telesta Tablet 20mg & 40mg & 80mg.
Classified as: ARBs (Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers).
Indications for use: 
• Used as a medicine to reduce high blood pressure in adults 
• Can lower blood pressure better than 24 hours compared to Valsartan. 
• It is an ARB drug with a 24-hour shelf life. 
• As a vasodilator in patients with coronary artery disease 
• Used as a medicine to prevent cardiovascular disease, 
• Used as a medicine to reduce the risk of heart disease, heart attack 
• Used in patients with type 2 diabetes that causes damage to other organs such as the kidneys.
Size of use: 
• Used to reduce high blood pressure: 
• Adults: the usual average dosage is 20-40mg/day. Take 1 tablet/day before or after meals. But it is recommended to take the medicine at the same time every day. 
• If the blood pressure does not decrease according to the target, the maximum dose can be given at 80mg/day. Can be used together with Thiazide diuretics such as Hydrochlorothiazide. 
• If considering to increase or decrease the dose of medicine, it is necessary to remember the period of recovery first, which takes 4-8 weeks after using the medicine. Elderly: No dose adjustment is required. 
• Used to prevent cardiovascular disease: 
• Adults: the usual average dosage is 80mg/day. 
• Used for patients with moderate-damaged kidneys: 
• Adults: the starting dose is 20mg/day.
Side effects: 
• There may be a rash, swelling on the face, eyelids, mouth. 
• Joint pain, muscle ache, headache, dizziness, sweating a lot, can't sleep. 
• There are signs of high levels of potassium in the blood, causing irregular heartbeats, shortness of breath, and facial pain. 
• Gastrointestinal disorders such as bloating and constipation.
