Jentin met Tablet 50mg/500mg, 100mg/1000mg

Arranged in the drug group (DPP-4) & Biguanide.
Type of drug: Prescription drug.
Indications: Used to control blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. Control along with exercise and food control.
Strength: The maximum strength for Sitagliptin is 100mg/time/day and Metformin 2.000mg/time/day. 
• For starting strength, Jentin met 50mg/500mg x 2 times/day with meals.
For patients with a history of using Metformin 850mg before 
• The starting strength is Jentin met 50mg/500mg x 2 times/day with meals.
Increasing the dosage of the drug with the patient should be gradually increased gradually as appropriate, in order to reduce the side effects on the digestive system due to Metformin.
Warning:
Patients with impaired liver function: Patients with impaired liver function who have a history of lactic acidosis and should avoid using Jentin met (Sitagliptin/Metformin) in patients with liver disease.
Use of the drug in pregnant women: This drug is classified in the safety category B and there is no safety study of the use of this drug in pregnant women, therefore, it is necessary to study the side effects or necessity before using this drug in pregnant women.
Do not use: Do not use for patients with impaired kidney function: Creatinine levels (male) ≥1.5mg/dl, (female) ≥1.4mg/dl.
Do not use in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to Jentin met (Sitagliptin/Metformin) and with body swelling.
